Getting to the Gorge

The Columbia River Gorge is a river canyon that stretches 80 miles long and up to 4,000 feet deep, located along the Oregon/Washington state line. The Dalles is on the east end of the Gorge and will play host to our wedding festivities.

We recommend flying in to Portland International Airport. PDX is about a 90-minute drive from The Dalles along Interstate 84.

We recommend renting a car at the airport if possible. The Dalles does have an Enterprise rental car office locally.

While offerings are limited, there are some public transportation options to get from Portland to The Dalles. If you're interested in learning more, visit Gorge Translink

Ride sharing apps are not reliable for service throughout the Gorge. There are taxi services available in The Dalles; however, Chad did not have a great experience when he rode the $4.50 Taxi.
