Wine Tasting at Tierra De Lobos - The best winery in The Dalles for Malbec, Barbera, and Sauvignon Blanc. Sit at the bar and chat with Adolfo or Gabino.
The Workshop - Need a "The Dalles" tee shirt or mug? This is the place. They also create their own wood art.
WAAAM - Chad's favorite museum. Antique airplanes and a knowledgeable staff.
Hood River Lavender Farms - Get a beautiful "double mountain view" of Mt. Hood and Mt. Adams at this great spot to sip on lavender lemonade on the porch.
The Gorge White House - A funky stop on the Fruit Loop for beer, wine, cider, and tasty lunch. Pick-your-own flowers may be available in April depending on the weather.
Draper Girls' Country Farm - Try some award winning hard cider, or pick up a bottle of delicious sweet cider made on site.
Rowena Crest & Tom McCall Nature Preserve - Drive old Rt. 35 to the Rowena Crest view point for a panoramic view of Columbia River Gorge. Take an easy walk through the Tom McCall Nature Preserve.
Multnomah Falls - Stop and visit one of Oregon's most well known outdoor destinations.
Pipeline Trail - Take an easy out-and-back hike on a catwalk built on top of a penstock pipeline. This is a fun trail with gorgeous view of the Hood River.
White River Falls - Ashley's favorite hike. A moderate hike to beautiful falls and an old hydroelectric plant. This hike is best done in mild weather.
The International Rose Test Garden - Stop and smell the roses in this peaceful park with more than 600 varieties of roses. Most bloom from May to October, but it's worth a stop.
